Screened carrier network
Operating authority, insurance, and safety record checked before a carrier hauls

Operated by Rite Way Freight LTD
Checked before they haul
Operating authority, insurance certificates, and safety record are reviewed before a carrier is added to the network.
Matched to the freight
Carriers are offered work they hold the equipment and the experience for, rather than whatever load comes up next.
Re-checked over time
Certificates expire and safety scores move, so the file is kept current for as long as the carrier runs loads.
How carriers are vetted
Rite Way Freight is licensed as both a freight broker and a motor carrier. When a load moves on a contracted carrier rather than on our own equipment, that carrier has been through a screening process before it is offered the work.
The checks are documentary and practical. Operating authority is confirmed as active — MC and US DOT numbers on the American side, provincial authority and CAAT registration on the Canadian side. Cargo and liability insurance certificates are collected and kept on file. Safety records and inspection history are reviewed.
Screening is not a one-time event. Certificates expire, authority lapses, and safety scores move, so the file is maintained for as long as the carrier runs loads for us. Work is assigned to operators with the equipment and the experience the freight calls for — a network built this way over nearly four decades is why oversized and high-value loads can be placed with confidence.
