Rite Way Freight LTD

Route and feasibility

Lanes, clearances, and restrictions assessed end to end before a load is booked.

Cost and transit modelling

Options weighed on price and time so the trade-off is a decision rather than a surprise.

Risk and contingency

Seasonal, structural, and border risks planned around from the start.

About supply chain consulting

We plan the whole move before a load is booked — mapping the most feasible path across Canada and the US, then engineering permits, clearances, and contingencies around your freight. Where a lane carries risk, it is planned around from the start, not improvised later.

The most useful answer this work produces is sometimes that a route will not take the piece. Knowing that in the planning stage costs a conversation; finding it out with a loaded trailer at a low bridge costs a great deal more.

It also covers the commercial side. Cost and transit are modelled against each other so the choice between a faster lane and a cheaper one is made deliberately, and permit and cross-border requirements are scoped up front rather than added to the invoice later.

What consulting covers

  • Route and feasibility assessment
  • Clearance and restriction mapping
  • Bridge rating and weight assessment
  • Cost and transit modelling
  • Permit requirements scoped per jurisdiction
  • CBSA and CBP documentation scoping

What planning covers by region

The constraint that usually decides a route changes with the territory.

Québec and Ontario

Urban clearances, seasonal load restrictions, and provincial permit conditions.

Western Canada

Access roads, winter windows, and distance between serviceable points.

Atlantic Canada

Port and terminal windows alongside road planning.

United States

State-by-state permits, escort rules, and clearance at the border.

5.0
